陳偉殷目前有一項大聯盟之最的頭銜，就是「得點圈被打擊率0.111全大聯盟最低」。今年是他與金鶯隊4年合約的最後1年，截至昨日為止，他的自責分率3.21也勝過昔日，這些漂亮數據可為他爭取一紙更大合約奠下厚實的籌碼。
此役剛開打時，轉播畫面特別打出陳偉殷在得點圈有跑者時是全大聯盟所有達到規定投球局數的投手中最低者，昨日賽後為0.111，繼續獨步大聯盟。
陳偉殷在今年開季前提到進入合約年的展望時強調：「做好自己該做的事，自己可以控制的像自責分率、投球局數、被上壘率等，希望這些數據可以更好。」
勝投得看隊友們的打擊捧不捧場，如同陳偉殷先發12場有7場「優質先發」是金鶯之最，但隊友火力沒跟上僅獲2勝，不過上述他所提到的數據純粹是投手個人表現，而他也有所掌握。
自責分率是一位投手每9局的平均責任失分，數值越低，表示每場比賽責失越少，此為評價投手的重要數據。陳偉殷從2012年起，年度自責分率分別是4.02、4.07、3.54，而本季至昨日為止為3.21，自責分率壓得更低。
他所在乎的平均每局被上壘數（WHIP，數值越低越精湛）也有大大的進展，從2012年起他逐年數據分別是1.26、1.32、1.23，而本季目前1.18都優於過去。
